Do you recommend taking vitamin B6 to extend a 9-day latent phase? Dosage? At what point in the cycle?

Can taking vitamin B6 plus or minus 100mg/day cause delayed menstruation?

Hello, sorry for the delay!
Taking natural health products will not allow you to "boost" fertility chances, if that was indeed your question. Some studies that showed a possible association with increased fertility and the use of B6 do not allow for a ruling as to whether the use of B6 could actually help fertility or if it only helps to fill in an initial deficiency in some women. The ideal is therefore to maintain an adequate and sufficient diet, and take folic acid 3 months before conception. There are also ovulation tests to help you increase your chances of getting pregnant by estimating when you are ovulating. Have you ever tried to detect your ovulation through tests? How long have you been trying to get pregnant? If there is indeed a fertility problem, only follow-up by a professional and the use of medications recognized and indicated for their effectiveness and safety are recommended.
I look forward to hearing from you, have a good evening.

For only 6 months... I have been doing ovulation tests. I always ovulate on day 19 of a 28 day cycle. My lateral phase is only 9 days which seems short to me. Could this be a problem?
I actually tested for vitamin B6 this cycle and my cycle lasted 30 days instead of 28 with an 11 day laatal phase. But I've been questioning the dosage a bit...

After further research, I can confirm that B6 has never been proven to increase cycle length or luteal phase. It is most likely just a coincidence unfortunately.
So I can't recommend an "effective" dosage for you, as such studies have never been completed. 😕
