Some answers here: the Dukoral vaccine is only 50% effective in preventing traveler's diarrhea caused by E.Coli, but it does protect against cholera. However, cholera is not identified as a risk in Morocco. The risk of traveler's diarrhea is present. So, as to whether it is recommended, I would tell you that I rarely recommend it in practice because of the cost and the presence of alternatives. That said, it might be recommended if you have certain conditions or a history of traveler's diarrhea.

Since Bill 41, Quebec pharmacists can prescribe medication for travellers' diarrhea to treat yourself if you have clear symptoms of the condition while traveling. A complete evaluation will allow your pharmacist to determine if you should leave with an antibiotic, for example, or other prevention such as Dukoral.
