Hello Sir,
I am sorry about the reaction caused by the cream. I suggest the following steps to help reduce the reaction.
I suggest the use of an antihistamine, Benadryl, which will help with the redness, swelling and itching. Note that Benadryl can cause drowsiness, so avoid driving after taking the medication and avoid concomitant alcohol consumption.
To soothe your itching, you can also apply cold water compresses for 10-15 minutes and make use of a colloidal oatmeal cream like Aveeno.
If you notice a worsening of the reaction or no improvement within 1 week despite using the suggested products, I advise you to consult a doctor.
