Hello
My 14 month old daughter has been taking an antibiotic since Thursday August 12 for ear infections. (10 days of antibiotics) Yesterday I noticed that she had some pimples on her body.
Today she has them on all parts of her body, arms back belly leg face foot hand ears etc.. I immediately thought of the foot hand mouth even if she didn't have a fever episode and her appetite didn't change. However, I also wonder if it could be a reaction to her antibiotic.
Can she have a reaction to her antibiotic almost at the end of her treatment?

Hello, thank you for your question!
Some antibiotics can cause this kind of reaction, without being considered dangerous for your child, at first.
However, since your child is currently under treatment, I strongly recommend that you redirect your question to the pharmacist who served you the antibiotic: He/she will be much better able to assess the situation, determine a plan, contact your prescriber, and document the file to ensure the best possible follow-up.
