Could this rash be just hives or more serious?
42-year-old woman
My 12 year old boy (no allergies, no diseases, perfect health) started having a rash yesterday with pimples and patches that sting a lot. He is in exams. Could this be a disease or just a rash? Thank you

Hello Ma'am,
To be able to tell for sure, you would have to see the buttons/plates (which is impossible here). So I recommend that you go to the pharmacy and show the plaques to the pharmacist on duty. He or she will be able to recommend an over-the-counter treatment to reduce the symptoms (especially the itching) or refer you to a medical consultation if deemed necessary.
