Why are my periods lighter?

Hello, For the past few months, my periods have been less abundant than usual. Usually, the flow starts weakly and increases for 3-4 days. However, for the last 2-3 months, it is only on the first and second day that it flows as usual... then the last 3 days are very light. I have no contraception and I am trying to have a child.
