What is the reason for the red pimples that appear when I apply the cream in the right amount twice a day?

Hello, I have extremely dry skin on my face, it itches and cracks even when I get out of the shower. I have tried several types of creams and masks, but I have not had any success... I am currently using the cerave cream (the blue one) and it has improved the situation. However, when I put a good quantity of it on in the morning and evening, I get small red pimples, what could this be related to? I have the impression that my skin needs to be hydrated but when I do it, it reacts badly...Thanks Thank you very much!

Hello! It's quite difficult to answer without seeing the pimples and lesions you are referring to. It is not impossible that you are sensitive to an ingredient in the Cerave cream which could cause you to have pimples (although it is a very good cream).
