Can a pharmacist help us or do I need to consult a doctor?

33-year-old womana year ago
I have very strong menstrual pain, it's worse since the last 2 cycles, I have difficulty standing, my stomach is very swollen and I have pain in my back. Should I consult a pharmacist or a doctor to get the pills that alleviate the stomach pain (blue pills, I had naproxen from memory before I had children)

Hello,
If you have no allergies to medications, no health problems and you are not pregnant, the naproxen available behind the counter can help relieve your pain:
  • Naproxen sodium 220 mg, take 1 tablet every 8 to 12 hours with food and as needed, maximum 2 tablets per 24-hour period.
It is a more powerful anti-inflammatory than Advil, and it is important not to combine it with other anti-inflammatory drugs.
You can also try a warm magic bag on your stomach and back.
If this is not enough and you are not relieved by the addition of Tylenol 500 mg at 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed, maximum 8 tablets per 24 hours, I recommend that you consult a physician to evaluate other possible treatment options.
Best wishes,
