Would a vaginal moisturizer be an option to try? If so, which one?

Hi, I have recurrent vaginitis (once a month or even more). I took flucozanole for 6 months and it doesn't seem to have solved the problem. I have an IUD, could that be the cause? If not, I have the impression that it can be triggered by friction during penetration. Is this possible?

Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles!
Sexual relations can trigger or worsen this type of situation
Do you and your partner use condoms? If so, does it contain a spermicide, flavour or fragrance? The same goes for lubricants, if any.
Do you use soap or douches, especially for your private parts?

No condoms and odorless lube. I use an odorless soap for sensitive skin

Thanks for the feedback! If you haven't already done so, favor a water-based lubricant like KY. There are also moisturizers like Replens that can be applied as needed.
If the situation persists, a doctor should be consulted to thoroughly re-evaluate the day.
