Can I take Advil Cold and Sinus or Tylenol Cold and Sinus with escitalopram?

These products contain ingredients that may interact with escitalopram or may cause or worsen symptoms of anxiety or depression such as anxiety, tremors and insomnia.

Nasal hygiene with a saline solution such as Hydrasense or Sinus Rinse, which can be performed as often as needed during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime, remains the first-line treatment. It's a little uncomfortable but works extremely well.

Encourage her to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot depending on her preference.

Tylenol and lozenges such as Halls or Fisherman's Friend can offer relief to the throat if needed.
