Are there any vaccines recommended for our children to go to the Dominican Republic?

We are going on a trip to the Dominican Republic in March with our 18 month old and 3 year old children. I would like to know what precautions to take for their health.

Hello Mathilde,
In terms of vaccination for the Dominican Republic, it is especially important to ensure that all travelers are adequately protected against hepatitis A and B.
I therefore recommend that you have your family's vaccination status evaluated.
It would also be interesting to determine if certain medications might be indicated depending on the type of trip you are taking (e.g. antibiotics for traveler's diarrhea).
This is a service that our team of pharmacists offers. Do not hesitate to contact us at our branch for more details!
