Are the secretions clear or greenish? Are the accumulations only when waking up?

This is often cold related and viral in origin and heals on its own like a cold. I suggest for the time being to just monitor the situation. A wet washcloth can be used to clean the area when you wake up, taking care not to reuse it the share.

If the situation persists for more than 7 days without improvement, you should consult a doctor.
