Is there a treatment for acne that is compatible with breastfeeding?

I am postpartum (4 months). Since then, I have had a lot of painful acne on my chin, which I did not have before. I don't want to take the contraceptive pill.

Good morning, ma'am,
Benzagel gel is based on benzoyl peroxide and is the first-line treatment for acne. It is safe during breastfeeding. It is applied once or twice a day depending on your tolerance. Just be careful because it can rub off on clothes and bedding. Your pharmacist will be able to customize the information for you as well.
Avoid soaps on the face, and avoid washing the face more than twice a day. Lightly pat the face with a towel instead of rubbing the skin.
I hope I've been helpful to you, and I'm available if you have any other questions!
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
