Does he have to offer me a raise or can he refuse to do so? Are the new delegated acts mandatory or optional?

Hello, I read that the pharmacist is now able to adjust the doses of antidepressants. I have been taking them for several weeks without much improvement. I asked the pharmacist if it would be possible to increase my dose as my doctor had told me when I started the treatment. However, the pharmacist refuses to do so and asks me to go back to my doctor, which will take several weeks to get an appointment.

Hello Sir,
Indeed, a pharmacist can adjust the dose of certain treatments under certain conditions. This being said, certain acts do not have to be performed necessarily, they are marked by regulations and must follow the clinical and pharmacist's judgment.
I cannot comment on this situation as there is a great deal of information missing, but I invite you to discuss this further with your pharmacist if you would like more information. He or she remains your ally in achieving your therapeutic objectives.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist

Thank you for your answer. So what I understand are new possibilities that are discretionary. I used to have a pharmacist who made adjustments. I had to move and I lost my original pharmacist, since then I have transferred my file 3 times and to this day no pharmacist has offered me my old service.

I am sorry to read that the service you received was not up to your expectations! That is why I strongly encourage you to discuss your disappointment and expectations with your pharmacist. Depending on the reason for the refusal of the adjustment, he or she should be able to refer you to a colleague or another professional.
