I have seen that it is better not to apply sunscreen to a 3 month old baby. Is this true?

Hello Sir,
Effectively, sunscreen application is avoided in children under 1 year old.
Here's what you can do:
Look for shady spots, especially between 10am and 4pm;
Make the baby wear light, but long clothes and preferably with a high UV protection factor (ex.: "swimsuit" for baby);
We make him wear a hat with a wide brim;
On the areas that can still be exposed to the sun, we apply sunscreen of the physical type (on small areas). These creams typically leave a white residue on the skin and it is this residue that helps reflect sunlight and protect the child. Because of this mechanism of action, the cream is less absorbed by the skin and therefore less likely to cause reactions in the child.
All major brands now have at least one physical type cream.
