Is there any medication for ADD that is compatible with breastfeeding?

I have a diagnosis of ADD and was taking Vyvanse before I got pregnant. Now I am breastfeeding and would like to start the ADD medication again.

Thank you for your clarification!
We have little data regarding the use of Vyvanse in breastfeeding. There are theoretical concerns that it may decrease milk production. The risks to the child's neurological development are not well known. Its use is generally avoided.
Regarding treatment alternatives, methylphenidate (Ritalin) is another molecule often used for the treatment of ADHD. Its use in the context of breastfeeding is possible in certain cases, but will require monitoring as a precaution (agitation, weight gain). Some experts recommend that an immediate-release formulation, rather than a delayed-release formulation, be used since this would reduce the infant's exposure. Of course, the lowest effective dose should be used.
Finally, the management of ADHD during breastfeeding requires a discussion with your physician. The decision to treat or not will be made based on your symptoms, risk factors, the age of the infant and the frequency of feeding, among other factors.
We hope that we have answered your question correctly,
