What can trigger a migraine?

18 -year-old man2 years ago
Hello, my last migraine was on December 26. Today I just had a migraine. I ate sweets on the weekend, and also I have some stress with exams and an operation coming up. I ate some meatball stew on Saturday. I made a physical effort before my migraine came. I washed up right after my workout. I work out at the gym every day. My neck and back are often on the left side with nerves caught in it. The headache is currently on the left side like most of my migraines that I have had. I have flashes in my eyes before the migraine.

Hello, thank you for your question!
Many factors are known to trigger a migraine, such as stress, fatigue, and certain foods, but it can vary from person to person
I suggest that you keep a diary of your activities, your state of mind, and what you have been eating. It will be easier to compare this to whether or not you are experiencing migraines, and will help you implement strategies to avoid these potential triggers, if any.
I hope this has been helpful to you, so please don't hesitate if you have any further questions!
