Are your child's secretions green, especially in the morning, or all day? Has he had a fever for 72 hours or more?

What have you tried so far for his symptoms?

A temperature of 98 F does not constitute a fever, I want to reassure you of that. I am also reassured to read that his general condition is good. To that end, if he is not complaining of pain, the Advil can be left out.

You did well with the Hydrasense, I encourage you to use it as often as necessary during the day, there is no maximum number of times! I also encourage you to encourage him to drink lots of fluids, cold or hot.

Secretions may appear thicker and darker in the morning, but this does not necessarily indicate a problem. Just keep an eye on his general condition.

If the situation persists without improvement for 7 days or gets worse, or if he is unable to eat/drink, I suggest you see a doctor.
