Is it safe to use the saline mixture after 7 days?

Hello, I was wondering I made a sinus rinse to my 18 months old boy the ste justine method! I realized after that it was 2 weeks that it was in the fridge and it said to keep for 7 days and I wondered if it was serious is it can be dangerous?

Good morning, ma'am,

It is not recommended to use the prepared solution after 7 days because of the risk of contamination. I strongly recommend to write the date on a label or with chalk on the cap to help you not to use a solution after 7 days :).
