I use a cream for stretch marks but I have red itchy spots on my stomach and chest?

Hello! I am 11 weeks pregnant, I haven't seen a doctor yet for this. I have an appointment on January 4th with a gynecologist. I started applying a stretch mark cream on my stomach and chest. I had been applying it for a few weeks and little red itchy pimples appeared all over my belly and chest, funny enough, the reaction happened only a few weeks after I started the application. Is there a cream I can apply or can I take benadryl to make them go away?
