Hello Ma'am,
Have you ever tried ovulation testing? And your cycle is irregular, but how irregular? Do you have any idea how long a cycle is?
30-year-old woman · 4 years ago
Yes I have tried but it's hard to know about when to test. I also have an app but since I am irregular the data is not always accurate. I had a period on Aug 6 or Aug 11 as well as Sept 14 to Sept 19

And before August and September, was your cycle always about 5 weeks long?

Start rule Tuesday, Dec. 10
End rule Dec. 12
Start rule Jan. 23
End rule Jan. 25
Start rule May 2
End rule May 8 May
Start rule 5 July
End rule 8 July
Start rule 6 Aug
End rule 11 Aug
Start rule 14 Sept
End rule 19 Sept

Wow, that's great that you have this data!
Effectively, we can see from them that your cycle is very very unstable. That being said, for the past 3 months, it seems much more stable. You currently seem to have a 31-35 day cycle, approximately.
As a result, you should have your period around the middle of this week, or even around the middle of next week (if you're not pregnant, of course!). You should have ovulated about 5-7 days ago.
If you had done ovulation tests, we could have known for sure :)

I did an ovulation test in early October and it was negative the second line was not very dark. So I will continue to keep track of my period but it is about the 35 days I was relying on. When you say next week are we talking about this week or the week of the 25th?
Alexandre Chagnon · 4 years ago
According to my calculation, between next Wednesday and the next.
You ovulate about 14 days before your period starts. So your tests should have been done around October 10. Is that when you used them? And how many days in a row did you use them?

I did my ovulation test on Oct. 2 or 3 and then did it again Oct. 7
Alexandre Chagnon · 4 years ago
All right, and in the October 7 sequence, how many tests did you take?
30-year-old woman · 4 years ago
I'll be honest I've only made them. I was on the juice at work with the current situation. But now I'm going to do the math to figure out my cycle from 30 days and be more diligent about my ovulation tests. I should get sponsored. Hahaha and while I can talk to you you think what of the first response pre-send I think

Very good idea to try more testing. Usually, we would aim for at least 5 days of testing around the expected ovulation date. The "peak" is often so low, that one test doesn't give you a good idea.
As for the Pre-seed™ lube, I don't think there is enough data on how effective it really is. That said, if you can afford it to replace the traditional KY, then why not.
Happy day,
