My 11 month old baby seems constipated?

My 11 month old baby has hard and painful little stools. I have tried prune puree, hydration ++, but no change. Nothing new in his diet. One day ago I gave lax-a-day which was effective, but since then it's back to the way it was. Strength a lot, crying, pain and hard stool. There was even a little blood 3 days ago (not in the stool, but because of the hard stool) Is there anything more to do? An acquaintance told me about probiotics. Is this good at 11 months and effective for constipation?

If the Lax-A-Day was effective and well tolerated, I see no problem in continuing it if needed :)
That being said, you could try probiotics, but without expecting miracles
