Is taking pantoprazole a risk factor for c.difficile?

I had 2x cdifficile and then I had acid reflux, my doctor prescribed pantoprazole but it is a PPI and I saw that it might not be good and cause cdifficile.

Indeed, taking ipp for a long time is a risk factor.
What I can suggest is to take the ipp for the shortest time possible.
To this end, I think that a consultation with a nutritionist could help target a diet that is less likely to develop reflux symptoms.
