Hello Ma'am,
What are your symptoms?
What medications are you taking exactly?
Have they helped relieve the symptoms, at least partially?
Thank you

Did you have a follow-up appointment after the month of pantoprazole? What exactly did the doctor explain to you?

no follow up. I am waiting for a liver ultrasound.

Thank you for the information.
If pantoprazole is successful in relieving your symptoms, I encourage you to continue it until your next appointments. If your prescription expires before then, contact your pharmacist who can extend the prescription so that treatment is not interrupted.
However, if pantoprazole is not sufficient, you will need to see a physician for a re-evaluation of your needs.
Cordially,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
