Hello, thank you for your question!
I am sorry to read about your troubles! However, at this age, the only solution is to clean the sinuses with saline water, such as Hydrasense, Salinex and others, which can be done as often as needed during the day. By 'cleaning' the nasal secretions, we can decrease their backward flow, which often causes coughing, runny nose, and congestion. It is also recommended that you use a nasal aspirator to suck out the secretions afterwards.
Vicks ointment can also be applied to the chest or back. Just make sure you use the product that is appropriate for your child's age.
I'm sorry, there is no other miracle cure, only nasal hygiene and time will definitely help
I hope I've been helpful, and I'm available if you have any further questions!
