Hello, I currently have COVID and I am very congested. I feel pressure in my left ear, a blocked and full ear sensation, ringing and pain. Just because I'm not sure if the information has registered. My current situation is that I have COVID and I have severe nasal congestion. My left ear feels blocked and full, buzzing and painful. Hello, i am not taking any medication, I am not pregnant, I am not trying to become pregnant and I am not breastfeeding. I take a vitamin D supplement, Omega 3, magnesium and probiotics. I have seasonal allergies, latex allergies and a non-celiac gluten sensitivity. I have no known contraindications. thank you

A decongestant nasal spray such as Drixoral or Dristan may help, but it should not be used for more than 3 to 5 days. You should also check with your pharmacist to make sure it is safe for you. 10 to 15 minutes after spraying, I suggest the valsalva maneuver you tried: take a deep breath, then close your mouth and pinch your nostrils together and try to exhale as if you were blowing into a balloon while keeping your lips closed. If this does not work after 3 days, you should consult a doctor, if only as a precaution.
