White lumps in the throat?

21-year-old woman2 years ago
Hi, today is my last day of confinement due to the covid I just caught. I have not had any serious symptoms. However I noticed on my fourth day yesterday that I have a white bump on one of my two tonsils. It doesn't look like a pimple to me. I can feel the lump rubbing and it feels like I have something caught in my throat. Yesterday I only had one and today I have two. I only gargled with salt water about 3-4 times. What could this be and how do I proceed?

Hello ma'am, sorry to read about your troubles!
It's impossible to know for sure the origin of these lesions
You can continue the salt and water if it helps. For now, just monitor the situation. If you feel irritation, I suggest lozenges like Halls or Fisherman's Friend, and drinking lots of fluids, cold or hot as you prefer.
I'll be available if you have any further questions!
