Hello, ma'am,
For acne, the best treatment available without a prescription is benzoyl peroxide lotion or gel (Benzagel and other brands) that can be applied to the affected area 1-2 times a day. It can be applied every 2 days at first if it dries or irritates the skin, and be careful with the product as it can rub off on clothing and bedding. You can get an idea of its effectiveness after 10 to 14 days.
I suggest avoiding the use of any soap or cleanser on the face and only using clear water maximum 2 times a day.
If this is not enough, consult a doctor for additional options.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
