For my 5 month old baby I give him tempra when he has a fever or an intense coughing fit and I give him frozen milk to help his throat. Is there anything else I can do to help him feel better?

Hello ma'am, for you and your little one, nasal hygiene with saline solution is the best treatment and should be done as often as needed during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime (followed by suctioning with a baby fly for him)
Nasal hygiene is a little uncomfortable but works extremely well to prevent secretions from running down the throat and causing coughing.
For headaches, acetaminophen is the first recommendation. You can also use lozenges like Halls or Fisherman's Friend for local throat relief. I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot depending on your preference.
I hope I've been helpful, so please don't hesitate if you have any further questions

I do quite a bit of this already and for me I can't take any cold and sinus medication to help me sleep a little better my spouse is home so I can pump my milk before I take a few things and go to bed for a while

Unfortunately, these medications contain a decongestant that can decrease milk production, even after one time. Therefore, they should be avoided by breastfeeding women.
A decongestant nasal spray, such as Otrivin or Dristan, may be an alternative, but should not be used for more than 5 to 7 consecutive days.
