Acetaminophen (Tylenol, Tempra and other brands) is the best solution for pain relief. This product is available in several forms such as liquid suspensions, and is given according to your child's weight. Your pharmacist will be able to tell you how much to give your child to drink depending on the concentration of the product chosen and his/her weight.

If the pain persists for more than a week, gets worse, or is accompanied by other symptoms (fever, ear discharge, etc.), you should see a doctor.
