Hello Madam, sorry to read about your troubles!
Is your pain the result of a wrong movement, a repeated movement or a posture (at work or otherwise)?
For muscle pain, if there are no contraindications such as pregnancy, allergy or taking certain medications (your pharmacist will be able to confirm this), taking ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin or other brands) can help relieve the pain.
If it is a spastic pain (muscle spasms, locked muscles) or a torticollis type pain, the application of heat (hot water bottle for example) could help relax the area
Avoid remaining immobile, you must carry out your activities according to your tolerance and your capacities.
If the pain worsens, or does not improve after 7 days, you should consult a doctor, as a precaution.
I hope this has helped you, and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
