My 2 year old has been vomiting for 1 week?

My 2 year old, for 1 week now, sometimes vomits. 1 time every 2 days. At first I thought it was a stomach bug, but he can be fine 1 or 2 days and then vomit the next day. What can I do to help him? Thank you very much for your time.

What I can suggest for now is to keep a diary of what he eats at every meal to see if a cause could be identified. I would also suggest that he eat light foods for the next few days.
