Baby with patches around the ears?

My 20 month old boy has big patches around his ears with infection, I don't know what to put on him anymore and it hurts when I put cortisone on him or try to disinfect him with water and salt. I have the impression that all this started because of his eczema but he never knows how to scratch in that area... could it be caused by something else?

Hello, thank you for your question! Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to make an opinion without first seeing the lesions you are referring to (which is impossible here). I therefore recommend that you go to the pharmacy to show the lesions, either directly with your child or, even better, by bringing a photo. The pharmacist on duty will be able to direct you to the right product based on his observations, or recommend a medical consultation if he deems it necessary.
