I often urinate in small quantities, especially at night.

Hello sir!
Flomax is a drug usually prescribed for benign prostatic hyperplasia. Its most common side effects are the following
- Low blood pressure (mainly at the beginning of treatment)
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Ejaculatory dysfunction
- Nasal congestion
The majority of these side effects occur in less than 10-20% of patients taking this medication.
Frequent and small amounts of urination can be related to many things, but it seems unlikely to me that it is related to Flomax. However, it may be a symptom of benign prostatic hyperplasia. How long have you been taking this medication? It may take a few weeks to reach full effectiveness. If, however, you have been taking this medication for a very long time, it may no longer be the right treatment for you. If this is the case, I suggest that you discuss the situation with your doctor so that he or she can assess the situation
I hope I have answered your question,
Laurie Hudon-Germain, pharmacist
