What nasal decongestant can I use if I am pregnant?

Hi, I'm 9 weeks pregnant and I've had a cold for a few days. It seems to have turned into bronchitis or something like that, since I'm coughing up greenish secretions. I also have very congested sinuses. I have been doing sinus rinses several times a day, but I am still congested. I would like to know if there is a decongestant that is safe for pregnancy that I could use before going to sleep so that I can at least breathe through my nose. Breathing through my mouth dries out my throat and makes me cough constantly. Thank you

Good morning, ma'am,
Are you currently taking any other medications, do you have any known allergies or intolerances or contraindications?

No. However, because of the 2 week delay before getting the answer, I went directly to the pharmacist... No decongestant medication is allowed during pregnancy.

Thank you for the feedback, please forgive the delay in responding!
For your information, I will still answer the question because I want to qualify what the pharmacist would have told you.
In addition to nasal hygiene, a decongestant nasal spray containing oxymetazoline or xylometazoline can be suggested as a last resort for 3 to 5 days without risk during pregnancy. I am listing the active ingredients because they may vary from brand name product to brand name product such as Drixoral, Otrivin, Dristan or others. It is definitely one of those ingredients that you should look for.
