My 22 month old boy has a hoarse voice?

Hello, My 22 month old son has a hoarse and slightly dull voice. He has a slight dry cough & clear nasal discharge. Does not have a fever. What can I give him to reduce these symptoms?

Hello, thank you for your question! The best treatment will be nasal hygiene with saline solution such as Hydrasense, Salinex and others, followed by the use of a nasal spray. This can be done as often as needed during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime, there is no maximum! It's a little uncomfortable but it works wonders to prevent secretions from flowing down the back of the throat which often causes coughing.
