I hurt myself skiing on Saturday night, I was doing the pizza tip and my skis went in and didn't come off my boots, my left knee cracked and since then I can't walk on it, it's extremely painful and swollen. I have an appointment tomorrow with my doctor anyway!

There is a risk that it could be a ligament tear or a meniscus tear. A clinical examination done by a physiotherapist will be able to identify the cause and tell you the best thing to do.
