My 5 year old son often complains of stomach aches, should I consult?

Hello! My 5 year old boy often complains of stomach aches (above his belly button) His general condition is very good though. For one or two weeks, but not regular...I thought at first that it was mixed with the feeling of hunger because it often happens before meals but it also happens often after! He has no other symptoms I have not tried anything yet... I'm really wondering if I should go for tests or something...
