I have arthritis and plan to get a flu shot this fall. If my arthritis is not well controlled, is it contraindicated to receive this vaccine?

Hello, you can be vaccinated even if your arthritis is not well controlled at this time. However, you should know that the vaccine can sometimes cause flu-like symptoms (aches and fever...) which can sometimes worsen your pain for 2-3 days. Hopefully this answers your question, have a nice day!
