Can I drink alcohol occasionally if I am taking Escitalopram?

Hello, I am newly taking Escitalopram 10 mg for the treatment of anxiety. I took 5 mg for a week and started the 10 mg a week and a half ago.

Hello ma'am, it is not usually recommended to drink alcohol with this type of treatment. However, an occasional drink should not cause any problems.
