Can I give Advil (ibuprofen) to my 4.5 month old baby (12 lbs)? Because the Tempra does not seem to help his teething. Thanks :)

My daughter is taking Prevacid (Fasttab). I don't know if this additional information is relevant, but I'll mention it just in case! Thank you!

Advil is not recommended for use in children under 6 months of age. That being said, most parents underdose when it comes to over-the-counter medications. By providing me with the dose you are giving, the weight of the child, and the strength of Tempra you are using, I could recommend the ideal dose to use.

Hi, I thought so for advil, but I had a doubt because on the package it says that it is possible from 3 months. I think that ibuprophen is not very good for baby's kidneys. So I will stick to Tempra if necessary. I don't need to do any more calculations. Basically, I don't like to administer medication in general... Thanks for the answer :)

I'm with you. I'm like you! Try using a cooled teething toy in this case. In many cases, we see a good improvement.
