Can I get the prescription extended through my pharmacy or do I have to make an appointment with my family doctor?

I have bacterial vaginosis and I was prescribed antibiotics 2 pills twice a day but at first I did it like this then about day 3 I started to take 1 pill twice a day without realizing it
