Are It Works products recommended?

I'm thinking of "Greens", because a friend recommended it to me and "Keto Energy" to replace the energy drinks that keep me awake at work (I only take 1 Guru a day). Are there any products from this brand that I should avoid? I have Crohn's disease and am on immune suppressants (Humira), and I have anemia from my Crohn's disease, so I also take Feramax. I also take Effexor 150mg for an anxiety disorder. Could the It works products harm me? I don't want to make my Crohn's disease worse since I'm not under control yet, but since these are natural products I'm worried... I have also gained a lot of weight (+/- 20 lbs since Christmas) because of the Prednisone that I had to take during the last few months, at the beginning of the treatment for my Crohn's disease diagnosis.

Good evening ma'am,
You have done very well to ask the question. Indeed, taking these products is not recommended in your situation.
First of all, you should know that nothing is natural in these products. In fact, even though almost all of the ingredients come from nature, they are concentrated at hundreds or even thousands of times higher than what is found in nature.
In the case of someone with uncontrolled Crohn's disease and an anxiety disorder, taking "Energy" (and even energy drinks) can contribute to making it harder to control these conditions 😖

Also note that the products will not lose the weight you gained from taking prednisone. At least not while you are still taking them (it can take 3-5 months after the prednisone ends to see weight return to normal for people who take it for more than 3 months).

A huge thank you , I really appreciate your response! That's good to know about the Prednisone, as I was told it would be very quick to "deflate" and it's already been 3 months and I've barely deflated so I was wondering about that too! Thank you so much

That feels really good!"
A patient of mine went back to "normal" about 5 months after the prednisone ended and she started being active again. 😊
