I have a lot of sweat and odor, what can I do?

Hello, since I gave birth in April 2020 I am no longer able to find a deodorant that is effective. I have tried several (natural or not, for men, for women, etc) and I always end up with a strong smell. Sometimes I don't have any stress in my day and I don't make any physical effort and I still have an unpleasant odor. It's very confusing for me and I don't know how to deal with it anymore.

Hello, ma'am,
Would it be possible to know if you are taking other medications? And is the smell from the armpits?

No medication. Yes, the smell is from the armpits.

Thanks for the information!
If you have tried conventional aluminum-based antiperspirants without success, I would suggest Drysol, which can be placed either with the other antiperspirants or behind the counter depending on the pharmacy. I invite you to try it once every two days or once a day if it does not irritate the skin. I suggest starting with the one that is concentrated at 6.25%.
I also suggest to continue to ensure good hygiene with a fragrance-free soap like Dove, to wear clothes that are not too tight and that allow the skin to breathe, and to avoid certain foods that could worsen the situation like certain spices, alcohol and coffee.
If these measures are not successful after 4 weeks, I suggest consulting a doctor.
I will remain available if you have any further questions!
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist

Thank you! Is this or any other product compatible with pregnancy and breastfeeding? I am planning to be pregnant soon.

According to the manufacturer, no data is available on the use of Drysol during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is therefore not recommended to use it.
