Is the natural product "Floradix formula" compatible with breastfeeding?

This product was recommended to me by a nurse, to be taken in combination with iron (ferrous sulphate jamp), following heavy blood loss after childbirth. I want to make sure that there is no risk in taking it for my milk production.

Hello,
Floradix liquid contains, as medicinal ingredients, iron (iron gluconate) as well as vitamins (B1,B2,B6,B12). All these elements are found in food and are therefore safe. The only drawback is the non-medicinal ingredients which contain extracts of couch grass and kelp. I did not find any safety data in pregnancy and there is no dose indicated, so it is difficult to know if there could be an impact.
Note that the product provides little iron. Indeed, for 10 ml (2 teaspoons), Floradix gives 10mg of iron. In comparison, a ferrous sulfate tablet provides 60mg of iron. We usually aim for at least 100mg of iron per day to replenish our reserves.
Also, as a note, taking iron in liquid form has the disadvantage of sometimes staining the teeth and tongue.

Hello,
thank you for your answer. It was just the non-medicinal ingredients that concerned me. My iron tablets are 300mg...2x a day. I think I'll stick with that! Thank you!
