What to do about grey hair?

28-year-old womanil y a 3 ans
Hello , I am 26 years old and I already have some grey hair. I was wondering what could be the causes (no one in my family has had this problem before so not genetic). I suspect that I have hypothyroidism... What to do? What should I choose/avoid as food? Will my hair regain its color once the deficiency is restored? Thank you

Hello, thank you for your question!
I would like to reassure you that the presence of a few gray hairs, even at your age, is not abnormal and does not indicate a problem. There is nothing you can do to prevent this from happening.
As for hypothyroidism, it does not cause a change in hair color, and is usually accompanied by other more serious symptoms
Although you may experience discomfort with gray hair, you have nothing to worry about
Sincerely

Thank you for your quick response it is much appreciated. So are there things to do and foods to focus on to slow down the gray hair process at my age? There is a lot of stuff on the internet but I don't know if it's true (e.g. apply coconut oil to the hair, eat green vegetables, increase iron intake, etc.)... Are there any products to apply to reddish-brown hair to camouflage the grey without spending a fortune on hair dye at the hairdresser. It's starting to get boring cutting it as it grows out!
I sincerely thank you for your advice

Nothing to reverse the process and get my color back one day?

I don't want to disappoint you, but when a hair turns gray, it is irreversible. There is no cure for it, no way to prevent it or slow it down, because it is simply not a disease or a health problem, it is simply the way your body has been programmed
I do encourage you to continue to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.
I'm sorry if this seems to cause you anxiety, but it's not something you can control.
Sincerely
