I have a stiff sensation in the back of my neck and a headache following a course of antibiotics and celebrex for strep throat. What should I do?

RanCelecoxib 100mg 2x a day and pen vk 300mg 2 tablets 2x a day. And when I sit down and stand up my head hits me like a drum in my head for 10 seconds. This happens every time I stand up. Yes, I finished the treatment a week ago and I didn't take any tylenol or other medication. I thought it might be a side effect of the medication but the treatment is over. Hello Ma'am,It goes without saying that the effects you describe must be very very uncomfortable! Have you finished your antibiotic treatment? Have you tried taking Tylenol with the Celebrex as well, to improve its effectiveness? Thank you for the information. I would recommend that you try stretching exercises for your neck and take Tylenol 2 x 500mg tablets (extra strength) four times a day. If in 2 days you see no or very little improvement, you may want to go back to the doctor to make sure that the infection has healed and that it is not a "leftover" infection that is causing the pain.
