Can taking an antibiotic affect the result of a pregnancy test?

Hi, I am 6 days late with my period and actively trying for my first baby. Pregnancy test yesterday was negative but I had a urinary tract infection and until this morning I was still taking antibiotics. Can I get a false negative because of the antibiotics and/or the cystitis? Thank you.

No, antibiotics or an infection have no effect on the result of a pregnancy test

However, having an infection can delay menstruation or throw off the cycle for some people. This usually clears up on its own.
