There are some over-the-counter products such as Abreva, but its effectiveness has not been proven beyond any doubt. Products that can act effectively must be prescribed following a medical evaluation.

I suggest that you consult a physician to obtain a prescription. You may get an RV after your current lesions have healed, but at least you will have a treatment for the next few times.
