Hello,
Is he constipated? Constipation could have caused a fissure in his anal area. Does he seem to be complaining of pain? Is there a fever? Also, an allergy or intolerance to milk could be responsible for the blood if the baby is using formula or if you are breastfeeding and consuming milk. A change of milk could then be attempted or a limitation in your consumption of dairy products if breastfeeding.
When bleeding in the stool occurs, however, it is best to go see a doctor so that he/she can evaluate your baby and determine the cause of the bleeding. I therefore advise you to make an appointment with his pediatrician especially if the bleeding is repeated.
I hope I have answered your question!
